Translation: While you rejoice both in yellow flowers and Sicilian buds, you detect seeds sprouting all over. Here in northern lands, I, shivering with cold, wait for the arrival of Spring in the icy fields. Let us contemplate the same stars in the sky in our separate countries under silent night.
