Translation: (Imagine) the top of Mount Eryx soaring above. The poets ask “What are the mortals doing today?”

Satyrus trahi illuc mox futurus ex undis,
Saltans male et ridente cum pede hoc solo.
Meter: Limping Iambics
Translation: Soon the satyr will be dragged there from the waters, leaping badly and mockingly with just one foot.
